The result can include monthly outcomes, a payment date or a reason when the service returns one. A missing value should not be interpreted as approval or a promised payment.
Our role

Grant eligibility, application decisions, payment processing and appeal decisions belong to the relevant public authorities. Reading a guide or using this website does not submit a new grant application or an appeal.
How we explain grant information
We aim to connect guidance to the relevant SASSA or Department of Social Development source. Older documents are identified where their date or grant terminology affects the explanation. A published grant schedule and an individual SRD payday answer different questions.
Protecting your information
The status form asks for the applicant’s ID number and the phone number used for the application. It does not ask for a bank PIN or an OTP. Read our Privacy Policy before submitting details, and use the checker only for an application you are authorised to access.
