Cookie Policy

What cookies do
Cookies are small values stored by your browser. Similar technologies can also store or read information to support a website function, recognise a session or measure advertising. Some are set by the website you visit and some by a service used on that website.
Website and security functions
Our Cloudflare-hosted website and EmDash administrator functions may use session or security cookies. Administrator sign-in is separate from browsing the public guide. Blocking cookies may affect sign-in or security challenges.
The status checker
The checker submits the ID number and phone number you enter to our website and lookup service. Its code does not intentionally save those details or the returned application result in cookies or browser local storage. The displayed result remains on the open page until cleared or closed. See the Privacy Policy for connection information and rate-limiting storage.
Advertising cookies
If Google AdSense ads are served, Google and third-party advertising vendors may use cookies and similar technologies to deliver, personalise and measure ads. Ad personalisation can take account of earlier visits to this website or other websites. The AdSense account meta tag and ads.txt publisher record alone do not set advertising cookies.
Managing your choices
Use your browser’s settings to block or delete cookies. Where an advertising consent message is displayed, use its controls to choose or revise consent. You can also manage Google personalised advertising through https://myadcenter.google.com/ and choices for participating vendors through https://optout.aboutads.info/. Deleting cookies can reset preferences; browser controls do not replace every advertising consent setting.
Third-party information
For Google’s explanation of advertising technologies, visit https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Cloudflare explains its processing at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/. External official services have their own cookie notices.
Questions and updates
Read our Privacy Policy for the wider information flow. Use the Contact page for questions about our website. We update this notice when relevant website functions change.
