SASSA Approved but No Payment: Checks to Make
An approved month and a payment received are different records. Compare the outcome, payment information and your own payment record for the same month. Do not substitute a date belonging to another month.
If no payment date is displayed
SASSA’s published status guide directs approved applicants to the payday field and says an absent payday means no payment has been processed yet. The document uses older R350 wording. Follow any newer instruction on your own official record.

Check the information, not just the bank name
SASSA’s April 2023 explanation identified missing account details as one possible cause of delayed payment after approval. Selecting a bank name alone did not provide the required account information. This is a possible check, not a diagnosis of your record.

If a payment date appears but money is missing
Keep the displayed month and date beside your own payment record. Ask SASSA to clarify the payment status, and ask your payment provider about any transaction they can identify. Do not post either record in public comments.
Prepare these questions
Which month is unpaid? Is a payment date shown? Is there a reason or instruction? Have your payment details changed? What confirmation do you have? These questions help describe the issue without assuming that every delay has the same cause.
If the month is pending instead, use the pending guide
